Who or What is God?

3-29-09

Levelheaded Bob

Is prophesy a divine gift of the uncorrupt in order to give hope to those who feel damned by truths that will eventually unfold, or are they ancient fables constructed and staged by the very villains for whom they seem to be identifying in order to manipulate the masses. Are they mysterious scripts directed by an illuminated few, which if performed to the letter like some kind of recipe book, promise to launch us into a new age of peace and prosperity? Are they ill intended, to cause world pain and hatred so that we might be reborn from the ash like the crashing of the Phoenix? Are there good guys and bad guys, or are they one in the same, that switch their hats depending on what they feel the world needs at the time? Are honesty and honor, qualities that don’t apply to all men? Are good and evil the same entity? Today, I will reveal to you my thoughts on God which are based solely on my own personal experiences of nearly a half century of life and formal education. My thoughts hold no convention in any one discipline, but are a deduction of what I believe to be true in my heart from the hundreds of books, stories, scriptures and images that have washed over my brain through the portals of my thirsty eyes. It is a summary of all the truths littered both in works of fact and fiction that I have witnessed and interpreted from my own research.

I recently watched a DVD called The Secret, which reminded me of a book I had read many years prior called Creative Visualization. Both this DVD and the aforementioned text seem to indicate that there is a Universal Law or galactic intelligence. In my opinion, this Universal Law which is seen by most as a creative force is that and much more. It is a ‘giving force’ that men of all times have known to exist. Good and bad are in the hearts of men and in their intentions and desires. The giving force doesn’t mediate but allows one to ‘act out’ their intentions or desires to the best of their own ability. We manifest our desires as best we can and this fountain of force waits for all who dare simply to ask with conviction be its purpose noble or self serving. So in some ways, Universal Law could be viewed as a source of evil as well as good, when indeed it is actually neutral from the standpoint of granting one’s own desires. One thing is certain and undeniable about Universal Law. The result of one’s wishes upon the force will (without fail) always render the same lesson, moral, outcome or example. That presents a problem for mankind who wishes to try to change parameters in order to be in compliance with the law. Someone once said, “Insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.” This is where I believe God (be He ominous, immortal, of the spirit, or all three) enters the equation. What men will do, does not impede on God’s agenda in the slightest. It will be what it will be. I believe that the presence of man in the universe is nearly as old as the universe itself. Histories and the wisdom of the ages as recorded by great authors, philosophers, and spiritual men have long logged the successes and failures of the desires and will of great figures and forgotten beings. And sadly, as my famous college professor, Dr. Jesse Rufus Fears once noted, “The lesson that we learn from history is that we don’t learn from history.”

God therefore could be the acceptance notion of Universal Law (or surrender to it), while anything else is deemed as separateness from God. This aspect of God therefore doesn’t judge what you desire, but the outcome as a result of what you ask for or want, so to speak, is already written in stone. You have free will and your life is a time frame in which your will personally sinks, floats or swims. Your Father’s ‘Law’ works much as your parent’s ‘experience’ when they try to counsel you on life, though many times you still do as you will. However, unlike your earthly parents, your Heavenly Father’s counsel is infallible. And, also, unlike your Heavenly Father, your earthly parents will try everything to instill their own will upon you. The Father’s Will is to push onward whether or not you decide to follow or pick-up from the rear at a later date. You will not go it alone unless you desire to do so, and there are literally millions of other souls asking for endless things from a fully charged giving power. This could explain coincidences that seem miraculous at times. Prayer is nothing but ‘asking with sincerity and conviction’ and hoping to be blessed, whether it is an Army asking for victory in battle or a personal plea for a dying loved one. Just remember, in either case you are not the only one asking the granting wishes of the Eternal Outpouring. And, you must wonder what you hope to reap from all you’ve sown. As long as men quench their desires by ignoring or resisting the lessons learned from Universal Law, than they are separating themselves from deity, from light, from the flow and from the beneficial nature of the power that is interpreted as God’s love. This limits man to a life of his flesh instead of his eternal evolving soul. Our woes are mostly an accumulation of various attempts of circumventing that which cannot be circumvented. I must also add that we are always seeking understanding from the applications of nature. There are far less dos and don’ts than there are what works best and what yields least. Many are far too critical of the desires of others and their will to create their own destiny, while those others are many times far too immersed in their own personal indulgences that deceive them from the path of the Law.

Religions seem to be a formulation of the interpretive understanding of Universal Law, and many a good prophet, master, lord, preacher, rabbi or equivalent has done their inspired best to explain that to any that would listen. Unlike Universal Law, religions are open to manipulation by unscrupulous men. To mankind, the Universal Law is treated more like a Universal Theory. It is we whom challenge the Law’s validity and perfection by constantly tilting the pinball machine. In fact, Universal Law is treated much like the imperfect laws of man. Man’s laws are written and carried out, only to be challenged by the constant erosion of interpretation. Ironically, the drive to change man’s law is driven by the desires of men. They are the same desires we cast into the mighty River of Giving in the hope that we might snag our dreams. Somewhere in a chapter of history, whether long forgotten or recorded in our present concept of time and consciousness, what we ‘want’ has been tried infinite times with the same result. God cares not what you dream for, and with the aid of your conviction and the like desires of others around you, you will probably be granted what you seek. Universal Laws aren’t so much dos and don’ts as they are statements of truth. Here’s one that I feel is a good example: If you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. This is not a judgment. This is a true statement that has an endless number of applications but only one interpretation. It is the exact same ‘law’ as: You reap what you sow. You are what you eat. If you are looking for a fight you’ll find one. You get what you give. If all you have is hammer, then everything starts to look like a nail. My concept of God doesn’t hate the rich, hold back the poor, kill the innocent, punish the unjust, or curse nations and peoples. Mankind has a pretty good handle on all of that. God is the ominous explanation given in most creation stories or ‘myths’. He is the beginning and the end, absolutely. The understanding of God has evolved and is evolving constantly through mankind, and as I mentioned earlier, I believe mankind has been springing up like grass on the plain since the early beginnings of the Universe. We on earth are like infants in the universe, but there are toddlers, teeny boppers, and senior citizens in the cosmos as well, and guess what? They are still trying to figure out the cornucopia that is Universal Law. The beings that have had contact with us as we evolved from our own creation have either treated us as a preserve of study or as an active experiment. We have interpreted them as God or gods, angels, devils and demons. They have a deep interest in us as does the spirit world. Some interfere in our affairs and some feel as though it goes against their experience of Universal Law to intervene. Some feel that to intercede would in effect challenge the Universal Law that they seem to think they understand better than we do. There are those even within their own ranks who may feel differently, seeing their earth brothers as an opportunity to exploit. “As it is above, so it is below,” fits well within the realm of a Universal Law. We stand to learn from our errors whether the human body lives to be 100 or as old as or older than Methuselah. These ‘superior’ beings both deemed good or evil are littered throughout the pages, stones, scrolls, and clay tablets of our holiest scriptures. Man was left to determine who the gods and the demons were by their own interpretation of Universal Law and the occasional aid of an enlightened prophet that may well have been wise to the truth of one God or Universal Law.

Do we need many leaders for mankind or one supreme leader? God is our ‘one’ and only true leader that has naturally provided the correct level of dominion needed to keep nature in balance. But the seeming ‘savageness’ of nature is so undesirable to man (or rather, some men) that we tolerate the savageness of man’s manipulation of Universal Law. If we truly believe that we are a chip off the Old Block (God), then we have to be careful making our earthly laws by considering if they are self serving or best for the whole of mankind. Nature is united, but diverse. Mankind can live in harmony, but we too are diverse. We must beware of a New World Order because it is or has been an Order operating and plotting against the ‘nature’ of things, thus circumventing the Law of the Universe that is not a conformer of man’s own desires. The granting of free will is not to be interpreted as an endorsement from God. The desires of man are like the chaff that separates itself from the wheat by the gentle blow of the wind. The chaff’s work may be done to its specific purpose, but the wheat now has a destiny of its own to fulfill. So where man’s desire leaves him or takes him is man’s creation, not God’s. It bears fruit or it withers and dies. ‘Outcome’ is the figurative judgment of God, and has been preordained in Universal Law. Universal Law needs a hard look by mankind, and be held to the standard of desires vs. results, and we need to make sure we don’t live too far outside of the balance of nature. If man is the ultimate gardener and keeper of the land; then why do so few have so much, and in the same breath why do so few want dominion over so many? It is not the way of nature. When balanced, nature has just the right amount of everything. I don’t have all the answers but I think I could well construct a more balanced world than the architects of New World Order, unless of course the end result of this coming Order is to embrace the Universal Law. How can those curious enough to wonder, put trust in those human beings who plot in secret, or compare their less educated brothers as being subhuman? Dependency by the many to New World elitism is enslavement. There are rogues in nature and they must have a purpose yet undiscovered or understood within Universal Law. Man can only survive as nature intended. Prophecy says that the Order will win for a time. Then as only God (Universal Law) can deliver, a Judgment Day will come. It is then that all the subversive plotting and planning of the world’s elite that has gone on through the centuries will testify to the ‘outcome’ of their hubris desires. Perhaps they will see themselves as an endless succession of ants, or grains of sand, each one a king who failed his subjects. None the less, the cycle of man will begin again, here or somewhere else, just as the sun has always moved across our sky, and the seasons have changed, and the galaxies have spun; complying to the Law of the Universe, God’s Will.
