An Interpretation of Genesis, the Elohim, and Salvation

An Interpretation of Genesis, the Elohim, and Salvation

PART 1

...and to every action there is always an opposite or contrary reaction.” - Isaac Newton

&

For every action, there is an equal, and opposite reaction.” - Scientific Interpretation of Newton

No thinking human being would disagree with Newton's logic. Isaac Newton was undoubtedly an intellect. Many professors of various disciplines view Newton as their earliest science hero or mentor. Though Newton, through his own experimentation came to this conclusion as applied to motion, he wasn't the first to realize the profound extent of this ancient kernel of wisdom. Where have you heard this statement? “You reap what you sow.” It has made logical sense from the most ancient of times, that whatsoever much you receive is a culmination of the effort you put forth to get it. But, even the ancients applied this logic beyond the physical to every level of their existence. Blessings did not suddenly well-up through inactivity. On the contrary, one would take action and await the reaction, reaping the benefits or consequences of what that action summoned. In some cases, these were experienced as repercussions. Throw a small pebble in the water and you'll get proportional amounts of concentric ripples. Throw a boulder in the water and expect a bit more, but still in proportion to that particular boulder. A small earthquake will yield proportional aftershocks or tremors. A huge earthquake, expect huge, proportional, after shocks. It just stands to reason, that in our dimension, plane of existence, or realm, that the same would also extend into the ethereal. Some call our realm the universe. That's an acceptable term though it has implications that don't entirely sit right with me, but I'm not afraid to use that description because most people can cognitively envision the magnitude of a universe. I, however, see a Spirit World, and a Holy or Great Spirit, a Creator Spirit permeating within and beyond that space, but universe is a term that is perhaps easier for most to conceptualize. If you bump it (this universe), it will reciprocate. In the Far East and Near East, they may refer to this reciprocation or reaction as karma. It seems that we give and we get. Ask and ye shall receive, with the asking being a processed summery of one's careful (or careless) desire, a justifiable visualization of one's wishes. We must be careful what we wish for, as sometimes we transgress, which is yet another action that carries a proportional reaction sometimes seen as a debt we might owe. There are indeed laws in the universe, and this paragraph has proven this to be true, so let me propose a situation that might enlighten one toward a narrow pathway of freedom that you might never have chosen to walk.

Few would blame you for not seeing this path, or maybe even trusting to take it, due to doubts, questions, inconsistencies, and perceived (or perhaps warranted) hypocrisies of religion. Let me propose a tale in summery, as briefly as I am able, as one can delve as deeply into the subject as you'd desire after considering it. You may take the tale literally, or in a figurative way, because it truly doesn't matter how the bread was made, it's still bread, and it's here on the table. I'm sure I'll be dating myself, but my tale is a sort of Cliff's Notes on a scriptural story as I have interpreted it. I'm not free-styling, as I am a learned person, considering diverse works and using translative tools that have led me to speculate certain theories and conclusions. We must get off our high horses and admit that we don't know everything, and though it is wise to consult the proper academia from those who came before us, we must still use our own individual discernment on all things. Those in antiquity lived in the culture, time, language, and writing of their time, granted a relatively limited amount of them may have had some formal education. By virtue of their proximity to what we today are interpreting, it is likely that we've made a few translation errors, missed some cultural nuances, and taken presumptive liberties of various narratives that were commonly known to them in their time. However, any tale, just like a smelly black walnut, guards a familiar essence in the fruit which is buried within its protective covering (the narrative). This fruit, deep within, is the same truth throughout time, regardless of the language used to deliver the tale. It can fall from any shaggy nut tree of its kind, but we must snatch it up. We must endure the laborious task of tearing through the hide, picking through the hard shell and extracting the morsel of knowledge we sought. That morsel is a truth, and that narrative should always make logical sense. Kudos to M.R. Behr's poem entitled, The Spirit Story, for the use of his walnut analogy. Please bear with the redundancy of various terms in this story. Unfortunately, the original tale used a rather broad based term, and it was likely for a good reason. That term or word was translated as, Elohim. So hear goes my rendition of the tale:

Before there was mankind, there was nothing but the silent void of darkness. Nothing was conscious of this darkness but He that was the Great Creator Spirit. We know nothing of this Creator Spirit other than what our scriptures tell us of it. It is written that the Creator Spirit described this void of darkness as a watery abyss. This void had always been, so we can only wonder upon its origin for eternity. There came a time when the Creator Spirit chose to separate this void, or dark, watery abyss with light. So, He willed the light into existence by commanding with His voice for it to appear. So, there was now light in what once was only a dark, watery abyss. I personally interpret this process to have been a transition of a time of unconsciousness (darkness), to a time of consciousness (light). Light became like an embryo growing in a dark, watery womb. So, wow, a big change. It became something (light) having been introduced into nothing (darkness). The light seems to have been all penetrating, like going from no-lights-on to all-light-on. I suppose the darkness scattered to the fringes of the light. After this massive undertaking of dark to light, we have what I can only imagine as a limitless space of watery light.

The Creator Spirit took that watery, lighted universe and chose a point within it, and drew a circular expanse, which split the watery, lighted universe in two, creating waters above and below that expanse. With this process it appears that the Creator had now established not only an expanse between the waters, but the directions of upward (above) and downward (below). He created both an expanse and an orientation (above & below), again, at the command of His thoughts through His speech. He's creating with sound. The Creator is the authority, and His commands are His order for it to come into existence. I'm starting to see some tools in this tale from a human perspective. Of course, the Creator Spirit is doing all this with thought and sound, but how would we approach this manner of construction. Well, first we'd be conscious (en*light*ened symbolically). Inscribing a circular expanse for we humans would involve the use of a compass whose point might start randomly anywhere within a space. The Creator commanded that in doing so, established an up and a down, which puts me in mind of a plumb-bob and a square. Geez Louise, now we know why the compass, square, and plumb-bob are essential tools to establish a foundation for a brick mason.

So the Creator Spirit carries on, establishing the earth within the circular plane of the expanse, which in appearance was likened to a wax seal impression. That presents a wonderful and simplistic description of topography, creating the various elevations of dry lands and low water-bearing levels. How far does the expanse expand? We don't really know, or I didn't detect any boundaries from my observances. Like the waters above and below, the expanse likely goes outward and beyond throughout the universe, which certainly presents an unconventional picture. Perhaps the expanse is forever in all directions, with our parcel of earth occupying a measurable portion of that expanse. Hmm? Well, then the Creator Spirit created a firmament and placed it over the earth plane and put all the luminaries in the heavens in that firmament. The firmament is a dome-like structure, and it was described as formed and hammered out like molten metal, or maybe molten rock crystal perhaps. Those lights placed in the firmament were all the stars and planets, including the sun and moon, which had their own source of light. So now we have this earth and a firmament, and all the illuminated stuff in that firmament with water above and below it. Then He creates the plant life, and the fish, birds, creeping things, and animals in both male and female to be on the earth. I noted that sexuality seemed a novel occurrence for the earth, and then wondered about heaven. I say this because there may have been a witness to some, or all of Creation, something not addressed as deeply by the author of Genesis 1 as what was listed under the dome. That detail is the angelic realm, and that's where I believe the tale of mankind takes an odd twist of fate for most readers and scholars. Though I've addressed this before in past articles, I'll do it once more with a slight variation from my older article entitled, MORE. Reading MORE will actually help in the comprehension of this article, as they are very similar.

PART 2

So far you have read my rendition of most of the first chapter of Genesis. I emphasized some of my interpretations of what I believed the scriptural verses to say, and many might not agree, but I must admit that I used a tool called the Strong's Concordance to aid me in translating some words in Genesis from the original language (Hebrew). We assume from Genesis and see also in The Book of Enoch, that there is an angelic realm. There is confusion about the Hebrew term for God (designated by the #430 in Strong's Concordance), which translates to the word Elohim. Elohim is a term that can mean God (big G singular) or god/gods (little g singular or plural). It is the 6th Day of Creation that creates a rift of controversy for people reading it today. Hebrews doubtfully had the same problem. They believed in one God, but were well aware of heavenly hosts, angels, and archangels, and knew their place in the hierarchy of the kingdom of God (big G). Our English translation made no distinction (between God and god/s) though it well should have. Theologians have all kinds of excuses and answers to explain the controversy away. Perhaps it was simply assumed at the time by scholars, or intentionally unexplained to arouse debate, but what we do know is that the Hebrew tribes were monotheistic. When Genesis states that God (the Elohim) made man in the their image or likeness, it doesn't quite jibe with the God that got the ball rolling early on in Genesis. This was the One God that commanded the manifestation of (and the very existence of) light, by the resonant sound of His voice. No, that wasn't a bunch of gods or a little-g-god that did that. The Hebrews would not have understood it as that, and neither should we, but it is interesting that by the 6th Day of Creation, we seem to be dealing with little g gods, namely because of the use of a plural phrase like, 'our own image, or our likeness'. How do we transcend from a God to god/s in a matter of 6 days to suddenly create a contradiction? Well here is my take on it.

The Elohim Hierarchy Key:

GOD – Great Creator Spirit, Creator Spirit, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, The 'I AM'

God – One among the Elohim with the anointing of the Creator Spirit in Him, literally GOD manifesting within an entity with full authority in heaven and on the earth. Our Father in Heaven, the Lord of Hosts, the Heavenly Father of the Son of Man/Son of God (Jesus Christ)

god/s – These are the Elohim of the angelic realm to include the fallen angels as well, archangels, cherubs and other beings in service to GOD/God in heaven.

The Creator Spirit is one and the same as the Holy Spirit that we read about in scripture. Throughout the Old and New Testaments, that is what comes down from above and fills/anoints people. It is a spirit, the ultimate spirit. It is the Creator, where all begins and ends, that fills that image of the universe in the minds of men, and becomes the very essence of it. When the Holy Spirit wants arms and legs it anoints people, archangels, and/or one, and only one, among the Elohim as their King and our Father in heaven. The Holy Spirit chooses whom it may anoint, yet It Itself is not bound singularly to any one thing, for He is ever-present, and all consuming, multitasking to a degree infinitely beyond comprehension. The little-g-gods are the angelic realm, and leading them, is one among them, selected by the Holy Spirit. An anointed Elohim (singular), who can call upon His command, all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. All of it serves Him willfully, because the Holy Spirit has delegated to Him that authority. All but one special creation of the Holy Spirit, a cherub (not the arrow shooting baby of Roman myth, but the Hebrew interpretation) by the name of Lucifer. Do you now sense the conflict that had begun here? You have Lucifer, a unique creature among (and considered one of) the Elohim yet beautiful beyond any being created on heaven or earth, whose musical gifts (among other supernatural abilities) were supreme to all but the Holy Spirit that had created him. And yet, the Holy Spirit goes and awards another among the Elohim, filling him with the anointed authority over all in Heaven, who must now serve Him as they would the Creator. Is this possessed vessel now not the Lord of Hosts? Basically, the uniqueness of Lucifer was passed over by the Holy Spirit for another among the Elohim. You will see scenarios like this throughout bible scripture, and outside of scripture in myths and legends, where authority or kingship wasn't always predictable as to who would receive it or why that authority was given.

I'm asking you to conceptualize on the fringe a bit concerning the Elohim, so consider this analogy. A square is a rectangle, but any and all conditions of a rectangle do not always meet the specifications of a square. The square is unique to all other rectangles in that it is the only one with four 90 degree angles and sides of equal length. Imagine our Holy Spirit to be uniquely square, a one-of-a-kind. All that it fills, controls, or possesses are random rectangles (or quadrangles) of all sorts that can claim relationship to a square in that they too have four sides. The square can be them, but they cannot be the square. Oh, I feel a Cain and Abel story coming on. Do you think that history doesn't repeat itself? Think again. Lucifer would have been livid about being passed over, if he was at all prideful. God moves like this at times. There must be something to, “The first will be last, and last will be first.” God, our Father in Heaven was likely one of the Elohim transformed by the entering of the Holy Spirit. Now it is easier to imagine why Lucifer loathes God the Father of the Elohim in heaven, and true ruler of the earth. Oops, I did it again. I feel a Trinity forming, but that comes logically later in the story. I'm speculating that Lucifer looks upon the Holy Spirit with less disgust than the vessel He chose to anoint or give authority. Lucifer was, after all, created by the Holy Spirit Creator. Lucifer was likely created before the angels making up the majority of Elohim or lesser gods. There is no competing with the Holy Spirit, and no escaping its consequences (the laws of the universe, if you will). Lucifer values the greatness of the Holy Spirit, yet will throughout time manipulate/question its laws to create chaos in heaven and on the earth. Lucifer had want of that blessing of authority. It seems a disaster to us on earth, but perhaps a mere tantrum of pride to something as vast as the Creator of the universe. What Lucifer acts out (action) by the manipulation of universal laws, conditions or truths only deepens his karmic debt. He will twist, cast doubt, challenge, pervert, invert, confuse, and bend the law in order to destroy the kingdom of our chosen Heavenly Father whom he hates. And Lucifer hates Him because he felt he deserved the blessing of being the Lord of Hosts, given by the Holy Spirit. Lucifer felt entitled to the position that was anointed to one in the Elohim. Thus were the beginnings of rebellion in Heaven that would come to include the creation of mankind.

PART 3

So it is the gods (angels) that appear to take on the creation of mankind to be their representatives on earth to manage and appreciate all the prior lifeforms which were created. In my interpretation, it seems to me that the majority of living creatures (both male and female) on the earth were created by (the Holy Spirit) GOD. However, by the 6th day of Creation we become aware that there is or have been other entities that are dwelling in a realm other than the earth. They are the gods (angels), the seemingly immortal beings sharing the same general title of Elohim, yet they are unmistakably many. How many? We are not told, but now we know that they exist, and were themselves created sometime before the 6th day of Creation. How come we are not told? Perhaps in the Hebrew culture, the specifics of the angelic realm weren't shared with them. Perhaps there were other stories that covered that aspect. And, to them it was probably of no more importance to the narrative than knowing exactly where the Creator Spirit originated. They merely accepted that He (GOD) had always been. We can hymn-haw around about it, and speculate all day until the cows come home, but we must work with what we are given within the narrative. The Hebrews had a supreme GOD (Holy Spirit/Elohim, singular). It filled one of the beings of the angelic realm (god/gods/also denoted as Elohim, but plural). That one anointed Elohim became the Lord of Hosts, supreme leader of the Elohim (gods plural), our Heavenly Father. He was a transformation of a created being (either different or the same as the others) of the Elohim which we now know has a very broad definition. They (the angelic realm) decided among themselves to create mankind, a being that would bear their image and likeness, but serve a purpose upon the earth, as they themselves do in heaven. This is what we know as delegation of authority. In our human way, we anoint those among ourselves to levels of responsibility and authority. We have royals, presidents, dictators, chiefs, and CEOs, etc. The military and industry, have their ranks all in the name of order. So, either all, or some in the Elohim, began to take on the project of creating, or developing mankind with all the best intentions, and Lucifer was watching; old, butt-hurt, prideful Lucifer. He was observing and patiently plotting to make the endeavor of mankind disastrous. Is it getting easier to guess what is going to happen logically, to where all that follows, will finally make sense, instead of just accepting a dogma and not making sense of it? Why must we be trusting in a dogma just because a bunch of scholarly experts couldn't neatly tie up the loose ends, and deliver a simple truth? The masses don't need a scientific dissertation. They need a tale to orientate their mind to a perspective that makes logical sense of their own present condition. They are not naive enough to think that there are not a myriad of details missing from within the narrative. It's like the, a-guy-walks-into-a-bar joke. Do you really need to know the guy's name and his entire history? Well, not unless it makes the punch-line funnier. A guy walked in to bar for Christ's sake. C'mon, what was the result? It's a joke, not a biography.

Now before I go on with my opinion, I'd be irresponsible not to share a problem in the narrative that I could not resolve. Maybe it can be known, and maybe it can't. Perhaps the answer lies in a scripture outside of Genesis, like The Book of Enoch, or in some other work. Recall that Genesis 1 stated that all of the earthy animals were made both male and female of their kind, as if it seemed like something novel in the universe. Would that not be assumed even by the people of the time, that there were two genders with nearly all living things? Well, that's because we were soon to be introduced to the (small g, god/s) Elohim. Throughout the bible I detect no physical sexual orientation among the angels. At the least, angels strongly suggest to have possessed a male appearance. Let me qualify the last statement by the fact that what appear to be male angels, are extraordinarily beautiful angels. Their beauty is expressed as one would appreciate or expect of a woman's beauty. So the angels, though they appear to possess outwardly male overtones, are beautiful in a lovely feminine way. Lot recognized the visiting angels as divine as soon as he laid eyes upon them, as did the lusting men of Sodom, who also demanded to know (have sex with) them. So there is something about these angel/Elohim physically, that stimulates thoughts of incredible beauty. This was even more-so-true of the archangels, and of Lucifer as well. All these beings were created beings, not born of a woman, or so we are led to believe. That logically became a problematic issue for me in the Creation narrative. It's yet another wonderment to ponder from Genesis for down the road. I'm contending that all these angels/gods/types, possessed various discernible degrees of unearthly beauty. So, what's going on with the angels?

One theory is that these assumed, created creatures of heaven (the various Elohim types), were not only immortal, but since they had no need to procreate, they possessed within their composition both a dominate force, or energy, and a recessive force, or energy. These energies or forces where not yet experienced as masculine or feminine, until the created beings (gods/angels) began doing some creating of their own (making man). The autopilot of procreation, so-to-speak, was just another type of creating that our Holy Spirit pulled out of His endless bag of tricks. These energies within the image or make-up of these Elohim, were untangled in order to develop two separate beings of each in their kind, one dependent upon the other to continue a cycle of procreation among mortal creatures. Following this particular theory, I don't believe these Elohim to have been sexual/sensual beings, however this condition would change for the worse, when some in the angelic ranks found that the daughters of mankind were desirable. In an earlier writing (MORE), I explored a different perspective, which is as logical as this one. It was that the Elohim possessed both sexes within one entity. They would have had genitalia of both male and female, likely underdeveloped, yet present in their own DNA by the Holy Spirit. I've called the Holy Spirit's genius creation of DNA, the Stuff-of-Life. Though the angels and even mankind can manipulate DNA, neither the gods, nor man can create these divine, complex building blocks. DNA is a masterpiece of the Holy Creator Spirit, the preferred instrument of choice in constructing life on the expanse known as earth. Both theories answer many future questions about our state/condition, yet they also cause new questions to arise.

The Holy Spirit/Creator God created through the spirit and perhaps through the angelic realm, all of creation within a short 6 days, announced that it was all good, then stopped creating. I assure you that the Holy Spirit was not so tired that he rested on the 7th day. That is a human construct. Rather, the Holy Spirit ended His efforts for the time being in Genesis, though the ball was still rolling into the future. He completed His actions and they were good, because He was pleased with what He did. Now, there will be a prideful reaction, and the negative repercussions leading to rebellion. We assume that all the different types in the broad sense of the term, Elohim, witnessed and perhaps participated in the creation process. This ruffled the feathers (no pun intended) of one particular and unique cherub we all know as Lucifer. So, though all was good according to the Most High, which is indisputable, Lucifer would come against that. He will react to the masterwork of the Holy Spirit, in disagreement with the Creator Spirit's choice to lead the way as His delegated one among the Elohim. I realize that it may be a difficult concept to think of the Holy Spirit entering one of His created beings, and still being His omnipresent self at the same time. As mentioned before, the Holy Spirit is the ultimate multi tasking entity. His presence is inescapable. He is within and outside of every conceivable thing, and then some. Lucifer's pride then stonewalls with the Holy Spirit's delegated authority. In Lucifer's prideful opinion, that authority should have been bestowed upon himself. Action, and because of it, a reaction due to being prideful. This is the beginning of Lucifer questioning/testing the perfection and infallibility of the Holy Spirit. The proverbial gloves are off, and discourse in heaven will be inevitable.

How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! - Isaiah 14:12

The long and short of the tale is this. At some point there was discourse among the Elohim, certainly due to the encouragement and suggestion likely originating from Lucifer, to engage in a taboo relationship with the daughters of mankind. It is nearly undeniable that the very suggestion of fraternization between the angelic realm, and the daughters of man, was planted in the psyche of some of the Elohim. That seems to be the modus operandi of Lucifer the Deceiver. So, now there is a lusting, by many in the Elohim for earth women. Their dominant energy, I'm guessing logically, might make up 2/3rds an angelic entity (Elohim, small-g-god), while the recessive energy within them makes up the other 1/3rd. I say this because these untangled/separate energies translate to male and female on the earth plane, where there is a life to death cycle. Procreation, of course, staves off extinction for earth bound creatures. The Elohim have witnessed the sexual intercourse of males and females each of their kind, mating/procreating, and found that it was desirable to them, thus they lusted for human females. This lust drew at many of the Elohim's dominate energies, which was expressed as male energy by men and animals of earth. The Elohim are about to commit sin, or leave their assigned abode as the Watchers of the earth, and disastrously effect the earthly plane as participants. This was not at all the intent of the Creator Spirit, but the free-will among some of the Elohim. They will take for themselves wives from the daughters of men, spawning their offspring that became the Nephilim and other things, the great men of renown, the heroes of ancient lore, the giants, and the monstrosities of myth and legend. The monstrosities sprouted from unnatural relationships (essentially genetic bestiality) with animals, and the freakish experimentation that produced demons, giants, centaurs, satyrs, and Chimera, added to the perversion of nature on the earth plane. The irresponsible manipulation of the Stuff-of-Life led to rebellion in heaven. The Fall of the Elohim, was in my humble opinion the Original Sin. Those who fell were undoubtedly the initial and later polytheistic gods in the mythologies of all nations, that are all so similar, be they from ancient Greece, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Asia, Europe, or the Americas. They are the same fallen gods, along with their later progeny, bearing different names through all the ages. If they were ruling over or dominating the earth, subduing man, and engaging with earthly women, they were of the fallen ones from the rebellion in heaven. Their actions upon the earth created the chaos we as humans have endured to this day. The rift in heaven, begun by Lucifer, willfully sent a third of the Elohim to the earth plane due to their treasonous rebellion. There might well have been several rebellions, but one certainly cast many Elohim down to earth at Mt. Hermon in Syria/Lebanon. They were never intended to take dominion upon the earth plane. This action of negativity will be gradually drawn back into balance over a vast period of time. Be the action good or bad, something always bubbles over from activity, and results in radiating ripples. The reaction brings back the equilibrium.

PART 4

Naturally, the Holy Spirit was at work to bring things back into balance, and though the law of action and reaction must always play itself out, the dust of each incursion eventually settles. Just as you would expect, the Holy Spirit comes up with an all-encompassing fix that slowly (according to our own experience) brings all things back to His desired rhythm. Lucifer will be dealt with, the rebellious angels will be dealt with, the perversions of the Stuff-of-Life will be dealt with, and most crucial of all, the karmic debt (an element of reaction) resulting from the rebellion of the Fallen Ones will be paid in full. Though conceived from the Holy Spirit within Him, the Lord of Hosts (our Father in Heaven loathed by Lucifer) is given the remedy to bring order from chaos. And, all that belonged to the Holy Spirit, which was misused by the Fallen Ones, will go back to the Holy Spirit. All of creation belongs to this Creator Spirit, and all that was taken and manipulated irresponsibly will be reclaimed back by Him. I'll call this perfect strategy conceived by the Holy Spirit, Project Eden. Project Eden is the reaction plan that will right the act of the Fallen Ones (the initial Original Sin), which began not on earth, but in heaven among the Elohim (angels/gods).

There are perhaps at this time, only a few who agree with me that Project Eden was a multi-faceted trap set for Lucifer, which would initiate and align all the necessary elements to make good from all the horror conjured-up by the Fallen Ones. One must remember, aside from Lucifer being of a higher order (a Cherub) among the angels, the Fallen Ones are no different a creature than those who did not fall from heaven. They were all from the same genus or family of Elohim whose abode was in heaven. The original fallen, have a closer kinship to those in heaven than with man, or their own illegitimate earthly offspring. Just as humans have differences ethically, politically or religiously among them, so too did the Elohim on matters concerning those created in their likeness. Our earthly wars could be likened in many ways to the Elohim's differences on how mankind should be handled. I'm sure that prior to the actual rebellion, there were heated debates concerning the use and fate of the experiment that resulted in a living cognitive creature (mankind). As I've mentioned before in other articles, we have had the same kind of literary and artistic debates concerning Shelley's Frankenstein, or the AI factor in a movie like 'I Robot'. Where is the red line when toying with GOD's Stuff-of-Life? What are the consequences of knowing, or better yet, what may lie beyond finding out? Whether it is our destruction, or new green pastures, one must peek behind the wall to see it. And when is anything good enough to simply let it be? After 6 days of Creation, GOD/God, and His co-creating (created) gods, came to the conclusion, that all was good. The 7th day, one of inactivity, might well have been a day of reflection and admiration in which I guess could be determined as rest. Yet, in this Creation process, some entity felt cheated, disrespected, or overlooked, and an ego was born that became prideful. This in itself created division through the use of casting doubt, questioning authority, and even the use of projection. So, GOD's gift of free-will can throw a stick in the spokes of everything, with the exception of GOD Himself. And, not all choices derived from using free-will end in disaster. That outcome lies within one's own intent. These are all deep philosophical discussions that must join the narrative.

So, the Holy Spirit residing in the anointed of the Elohim (a single entity) that we recognize or understand as God, must first neutralize the driving force (Lucifer) behind the rebellion. Ask yourself, would a high ranking, prideful Cherub, lower himself to have carnal relations with a daughter of man? The answer is certainly not. However, would he have been clever enough to know that a vane attempt to make man in the image of the Elohim, would be disastrous for all in heaven? I believe Lucifer not only encouraged such vanity, I believe he intended to ensnare the whole of the angels in heaven with it. As he would later do in the garden, Lucifer likely encouraged that the gods/angels could rule the earth and their mankind, and they would be like GOD/God, having their own kingdom, but upon the earth. I'm sure Lucifer tempted the angels' dominant energies to desire the recessive energies of earth women, knowing they would become prisoners in flesh bodies, eventually losing the memory of their once great light. Entering the human gene pool was a long term trap. Christ would say, “Wake up O sleeper... (Ephesians 5: 14)” Further proof of this memory loss was confirmed by Jesus' acknowledgment while hanging on the cross. Reflecting upon his suffering while hanging on the cross, Christ asked his Father in Heaven to forgive them, because they weren't cognizant of what they were doing. Only when you walk a mile, so to say, in another man's shoes can you begin to know them. Jesus walked among men. Christ completed the Trinity with, GOD the spirit, God the anointed entity in heaven by the Spirit, and His son, Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “No man comes to the Father except through me.” His ransom (sacrifice, which righted the Fall), and our acceptance of His paying our debt in full, gave us passage to GOD/God and heaven. We must simply and willfully accept or acknowledge that Jesus (GOD/God/Christ) paid our karmic debt to bring order from the chaos begun by Lucifer. The Savior of man was the final destination of many generations of genetic 'cleansing' and that began with Project Eden.

The Elohim approached their attempt at making mankind from the Stuff-of-Life created by GOD and also existed within their own immortal bodies. They somehow separated the strands of the intertwined dominant and recessive forces within their own genetic makeup to emulate what GOD had done with the animals (and likely plants) existing on earth before the thought of creating man had come into their minds. These earth animals, though mortal, could procreate in order to survive as a species. Their dominate and recessive energies were expressed through this earthly ability to procreate, and were experienced on the earth plane as male and female. Thus one can't actually theorize that the angels/gods, and others among the Elohim possess both male and female traits. That is what we experience them to be, but that is not technically accurate. They may appear androgynous, but that is not a fair assessment, for they were created beings with energies or forces endowed to them by the Creator Spirit. Their energies were intertwined within individual entities. The Elohim are neither truly male or female, as these manifestations existed only on earth and not in heaven. Thus the Elohim possessed intertwined dominant and recessive energies or forces, not genders. These forces existed in the Elohim before GOD's animal creations, and before the separation of the intertwined energies that resulted in mortal creatures of both male and female. By default the dominant energy or force manifested as male, and the recessive as female upon the earth plane. Esoteric people are always talking about male and female energies, and the god or goddess influences. If you truly think about it, goddesses had to have been Nephilim, as heavenly gods possessed both dominant and recessive forces in one body. We on earth describe the gods as male, due to their overbearing, more recognizable, outwardly dominant features. Yet, it is the recessive force about them that gives them majesty and beauty. To a sculptor, what is the dominant force of the hammer without the recessive force of the chisel? Yes, the hammer, or heavy and powerful implement can deliver the slab, but it's continued use only renders that slab to useless rubble. It takes the finesse, and intricate recessive energy provided by the chisel and other finishing tools to bring the slab to life as a piece of art. Now imagine your GOD/God in heaven in harmony with these energies. His shear power rights Him with a male recognized pronoun, but there is a gentler force intertwined into that Creator Spirit. We appoint these Elohim with male pronouns because we equate their outward appearance as male-like.

PART 5

We might as well touch on our male/female perceptions of the Elohim, and I'm going to take an opinion based on what I don't know, rather than what I do know. I believe the Elohim have no genetic sex. How we describe them sexually, is entirely a machination of mankind, through their earthly experience. Do they have 'junk' (penises, vaginas, breasts, hormones, etc.)? My guess is that they have some type of genitalia, though likely underdeveloped. DNA is everywhere, and I suppose it to be what I call the Stuff-of-Life that seems to be GOD's preferred building block when creating living things. Note that in human beings, both male and female possess a tiny bit of estrogen and testosterone respectively. Sometime during gestation, I'm guessing as I'm not a scientist, chromosomes align in such a way to dictate maleness and femaleness. One might not believe it, but the Spirit knows what is in need upon the earth. In nature, man might kill-off hundreds of coyotes. I've read that in occurrences where this was done in great number, females who normally have 4 pups, might give birth to up to 7 pups. Amazing. Some amphibians can actually change their sex if there becomes a shortage of one sex over the other within a isolated habitat. That's just crazy, but that is GOD working. So back to the Elohim and whether they have 'junk'. Well, first of all, they are created beings, so we assume they do not procreate among each other, and why would they need to, as GOD has created them as immortal, or so we are told. But GOD builds things into our DNA and the DNA of other things. We are finding things in DNA that could have manifested. If it is true of our genetics, then I'm certain these same types of things exist in the angel/gods (Elohim). Human males have nipples that are underdeveloped and never form into breasts as they grow older, unless there is a lack of testosterone. Yet, here we are as males, trouncing about with noticeable nips on either side of our chests. Why have them at all? We don't need them, but they are there just the same, so I ration that the Elohim have similar goings on with their junk, whatever that might be. We know they are remarkable beings, so the sky is the limit (no pun intended) when it goes to their angelic abilities. They certainly knew how to manipulate their own DNA and turn on the markers that made us human beings, in both male and female. We could speculate on that more deeply, but I won't in this article. What we do know is that somehow they were not only able to construct mankind, but they also found a way to procreate with them.

So, now that that curiosity has been addressed, how is Project Eden going to ensnare Lucifer? Let's set the stage. God makes a personal space upon the earth believed to have been in the fertile region of the Tigris and Euphrates (along with two other rivers that escape my mind, but no longer exist). This is a personal garden, and God is going to put a new kind of man there. This area is protected by a few powerful angels (Cherubim). This garden, named Eden, will be like a paradise. It is a terrarium or refuge for the new man He will create. This is not the Elohim's (angels/gods) man. No, this man will be a very special man. Inside this garden will be two prominent trees. One will be the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the other will be The Tree of Life. God starts afresh by molding his man from the dust, clay, dirt of the earth plane, and fashions him in the likeness of a new and superior man. He then personally breathed life (spirit/soul) into that effigy and it became a living man that He named Adam. Now God could have created a female in the same manner, but didn't. On earth there are now male and female humans, but God was tasked by the Holy Spirit to overcome the Elohim's man, and He knows what must be done and how this act in Eden will eventually bring an end to the negative actions of Lucifer and the Fallen Angels. So, God did not create a woman in the same manner as the Elohim, but instead took from Adam's side a bone, supposedly from his rib cage, by putting Adam into a deep sleep. This bone probably provided the DNA and other materials that God used to fashion the perfect female mate for Adam. As I described in the article MORE, God tweaked Adam's DNA making a female clone that He named Eve. Eve was literally and physically bone of Adam's bone, and flesh of Adam's flesh, but capable of procreating. Whomever Adam and Eve's offspring might procreate with in the future, would be doubly entangled with the genetic material of Adam. There-in lie the trap that God set for Lucifer (now called the serpent or Satan). To have sexual relations with the mankind developed by the Elohim would seem akin to bestiality to a prideful Cherub. Lucifer would never have stooped so low, nor would he have even desired such a lowly profane creature. However, he was watching what was happening in Eden, and Adam and Eve belonged to the God of heaven, the very entity he loathed for receiving GOD's anointing among the Elohim. Lucifer would enjoy nothing more than to violate Adam's trophy mate, and I would imagine that Eve was made beautiful enough to entice even the most prideful and beautiful creature in heaven. We all know that God set rules for Adam and Eve in Eden. Rules He expected to be broken, else the ploy to entrap Satan would never be set into action, but there is no one more patient than GOD/God. Things have to be done willfully, even if encouraged.

In Greek literature there where several sets of gods that occupied the earth in different ages. There were earth and sky, giving birth to the Titans, and then the gods of Olympia. These were all fallen angels, though earth and sky might have been an attempt at a type of Genesis, earth being the earth plane and sky being the firmament in which the some of the Elohim would fall and begin their monstrous occupation. Zeus, genetically a fallen angel/god by my account, would often disguise himself as beautiful animals and tempt earth women into having sex with him. That union would produce a god, goddess, or monster like the Minotaur. Well, Lucifer/Satan decided his clandestine approach to Eden would be as a serpent (some believe a snake or perhaps a dragon-like creature). There, alone with Eve under the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, Satan beguiled her to eat the forbidden fruit of the tree. There is a strong indication that he also had sex with her by charming her. If you are going fishing for something in particular, you must use the most enticing lure. Lucifer hates God. Nothing would make him more happy than to defile God's little earthly paradise, and pardon my French, but fuck God's special woman while cuckolding His special man. To Lucifer it was a huge win. Screw God's garden, screw God's woman servant Eve, and humiliate God's servant Adam. God did not make Satan do anything against his will, and Eve (bone of bone/flesh of flesh of Adam), though warned by God of the consequences was tempted into partaking of the forbidden fruit, and lastly Adam on his own accord partook of the fruit as well. None were forced to do anything. All engaged through free-will, all-be-it that they were deceived. God set this trap for Satan. Do you think that God didn't know what was likely to happen? Project Eden provoked an action, and all that followed was the reaction God had fore-planned. All the characters had to do what they did of their own accord. God presented a perfect lure, and the fish He was seeking took the bait. Satan was sentenced, Adam and Eve were expelled into the harsh real world, which God had always intended, but had to let it happen organically for karmic reasons. Why was it essential that Adam and Eve be expelled into the world? It has to do with genetics, and the multifaceted purpose of Project Eden. God locked down Eden, and put his Cherubim sentries to the East of Eden with a flaming sword to block the pathway to the Tree of Life. Having eaten from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, Adam and Eve's eyes were now open. They would be capable of knowing all things which would be essential, yet challenging, and at times, troubling. They would know death. They would know wickedness. They would know hardship, and experience happiness and also know goodness. They would possess discernment in order to deal with the world, rather than live lives of blind obedience. But moreover, they would engage in life, and spread their double-dominant genes among the Elohim's mankind improving their genetic stock, and genetically dominating what was left of the Nephilim after the flood. The greater part of the Nephilim and the Elohim's mankind would die in the flood. This allowed Adam's descendant, Noah, and his family to later spread their genes rapidly upon the earth.

PART 6

Eve would give birth to a special kind of twins. One was of Adam and his name was Abel, and the other son was of Satan. His name was Cain. That, of course, was the trap set in Eden. Satan's spawn was caught-up with the super genes of Adam regardless, because Eve was a female clone of Adam, and possessed the same genetic material. Cain would kill Abel due to competing for God's blessing through their individual offerings. God chose Abel's offering over Cain's. Do you see the parallel of our God in heaven and Lucifer? It is exactly the same scenario playing itself out with Abel and Cain, with the exception that Abel dies. I suppose it could be argued that Abel was resurrected in Seth. None-the-less, neither Lucifer or Cain received the blessings they had desired. GOD (the Creator Spirit) bestowed His anointing upon one in the Elohim (God our father in heaven), so Lucifer hated God. God had counseled Cain, who was angered by God rejecting his offering, and God told him not to harm Abel. God told Cain that evil was couching at his door, and that he could resist it, but Cain gave in to evil and killed his half brother. Even though he murdered Abel, God would protect Cain from outside retribution. God had to punish Cain harshly, to offset the murder of Abel. Cain's genes too (dominated by Adam/Eve), would carry on. Cain would have a lineage. Adam and Eve would then have other children, and Seth would be the next son. Seth and his other siblings would have lineages as well. These lineages on the earth plane would all contribute to reorganization of order from chaos. This chaos had begun in heaven through Lucifer's pride, resulted in rebellion, and then spread onto the earth plane by The Fall. Those fallen angels (a third of the ranks in heaven) would then spread their chaos upon the earth. While Adam's bloodline was repairing the damage to mankind, they also were forging their way toward a promised savior, but to be able to understand and appreciate a savior they would have to come to understand why they needed to be saved, and then decide of their own accord their own individual destiny. This is why it was perceived as an eternity to those of us on the earth plane. Our mortality desires a speedier fix, but GOD/God has His own ways, and is not a respecter of man. Some iniquities must be bred out over lifetimes. Humbling takes time through experience, and deep understanding is acquired through suffering. God's people would experience slavery for a reason, and be freed, and wander for a reason. That was the purpose of dragging it out. GOD/God wants all back that wants to come back, but it has to be within the Law, or you deal with the ripples again. Christ was the culmination of an avenue or pathway back to God, but it could not be forced. Jesus suffered our karmic debt, which could not be escaped, or we ourselves were doomed to pay it. I don't believe that we were conscious of The Fall, as time had muddied the water. But, that does not detour karma from seeking payment. Recall that we agree with Newton's observances which make logical sense. Jesus alone absorbed the shock generated by The Fall, shielding us from the blow-back of an evil action. The Trinity suffered for the debt we owed and that was done through the Son of God/Son of Man. All stemming from Project Eden. That's a helluva debt, and also a helluva opportunity to hop on the salvation train. It isn't often someone pays your cover, buys your lunch, or pays-off your house, especially if you've wronged that person or his family, but that's how GOD/God rolls. One can either accept Jesus by faith alone, or through the logic of the Gospels. One can also study scripture, and read between the lines of the Gospel, and then perhaps decipher a more credible narrative which gives logical reasoning behind the events of the tale.

I think most of us that believe in God or Jesus do so by faith, because we truly want that kind of peace in our heart and our lives. But then there are those who have witnessed hypocrisies and had trounced expectations from religion and dogma. This disappointment has pushed them away from God, or reduced faith to the level of childish fables. It's hard to win them back, if indeed you ever had them. That's why I used the example of Newton. He's not a GOD/God/god/s, or Elohim. We understand him to be a human academic from our past that much of science respects. Some trust science, and what used to be the scientific method. Proof through repetitive experimentation yielding success or error. Yet now we have witnessed a bit of the same in scripture to where it is at least plausible. We buy insurance on ourselves, and cars and other valuable possessions. We don't know that we will ever use it, yet we know that things can happen that we can't predict. We certainly can't control the actions of others but often suffer from their consequences. Love your neighbor as you'd love yourself. That is a phrase believed to have been uttered by Jesus. Complimentary actions result in complimentary repercussions, like peace, tranquility and order. Is that so bad? Isn't it logical and even desired by most? If you got your hands dirty, wouldn't you like to wash them. That's what happened in some way long, long ago. Someone saw their glass as half-empty, and chose pridefulness over counseling. They took that hurt internally and nurtured it into blame and hatred. They lost sight of their purpose, and importance becoming a damaged cog in an otherwise smooth running machine. Obviously, God didn't read any Douglas Malloch (Be the Best of Whatever You Are) to Lucifer. But all kidding aside, we know these concepts to be true. Yet, we often shun them in scripture or religion. Our ancient sin was that we are decedents of The Fall from Heaven, as well as our transgression that ousted us from Eden (which was inevitable), and the current sinful stuff we do everyday. Our flesh is not salvageable as we shed it upon death. But the same soul/spirit that God breathed into the nostrils of Adam is immortal and has a place to go into eternity. Project Eden had an insurance policy, and the underwriter was Jesus Christ. You confess your condition, which you now know from the narrative likely exists. You acknowledge that Jesus paid your portion of that collective debt. You acknowledge that He died a human death by suffering the karma we deserved, then conquered death and rose to heaven as our Lord and Savior. Then, you just thank Him with all your heart, and go about the rest of your life trying not to sin anymore. The Gospel means, the Good News. Read them whether you believe them or not. Read them whether you believe they were messed with or not. I tell you now that you possess discernment. Listen to your inner soul when you read them. That's your discernment. Read one of the Gospels or all of them. Give yourself a chance to hear them then choose the path you wish. Hopefully, my interpretation of Genesis will help make sense the importance of salvation. Perhaps it will resonate, and maybe it won't. Perhaps I've missed something. I'm just an old literary guy taking a stab at a narrative that has puzzled many readers for centuries. I've tried to come about understanding it through logic, though in my own personal case, I've just always had faith in a story which I didn't think I understood to the extent that I do now. I hope it helps people toward their own salvation.

PART 7

The Three Stages of Deity

From my own perspective, there is a large amount of evidence that although Abrahamic religions are clearly monotheistic, there are also other beings that appear supernatural to humankind. We just defined the term Elohim throughout this long dissertation, and found that it is a very broad term that encompasses nearly any being from the heavenly realm that was not an earthly being (man, mankind). The three stages of deity are actually one-presence working through others. It would work much like an energy source that moves about through a network of capillaries that manifest into an appliance at various ends. It animates these appliances with a spark or flow that seemingly brings them to life. Granted this analogy falls far short of the one-presence described, it does present a decent image to begin understanding the unimaginable. I call this one-presence, the Ethereal Deity for that reason. There is nothing solid for our mind to grasp here. I often write it out as GOD in all capital letters. We feel or sense a presence that cannot be reckoned with through touch, sight, or smell. It is not audible or recognizable within our range of experiences, yet we know it must exist. We witness GOD's handiwork. We always begin with origins, but the one-presence has no origin for it has always been. To call it an intelligence falls short no matter how many adjectives you use to describe it, because it can never be explained. The Ethereal Deity is-that-it-is, with no beginning and no end. We can only conceive GOD, when GOD chooses to manifest in the second state of deity. I refer to this second deity as a Dimensional Deity. A Dimensional Deity is conceivable to our senses only if it chooses to manifest within an entity, yet it still may remain mysterious to humankind. We may experience it with some or all of our senses. We can conceive a spirit driven entity, in the same way a hand can animate a glove. We can conceive a Dimensional Deity living in a heavenly realm, and what it might look like. This Dimensional Deity is a single entity that the Ethereal Deity has chosen to insert its own will. As a surrogate of the Ethereal, the Dimensional Deity rules from the heavenly dimension. I see it a bit like the opposite of a demonic possession. Think of it as a Arch-angelic possession. This single Dimensional Deity, acts as a tentacle extending from the Ethereal Deity presence (we might say, mind), to rule in a heavenly dimension. As with any ruler or king, there are beings or entities that serve its will in the same way that the Dimensional Deity serves the will of the Ethereal Deity. To differentiate the two deities working as one, I call the Dimensional Deity, God (capital G followed by lower case letters). Those who serve the Dimensional Deity in the heavenly realm, along with other created beings of the Ethereal Deity within that realm, are of an angelic nature and could be seen as lesser gods (all lower case). All this describes further the GOD and God we discussed in the earlier parts of this article. The Ethereal manifests into the Dimensional, and in that realm exists those supernatural entities that serve the will of GOD/God. Those supernatural beings are the archangels, cherubim, and angels serving and occupying their places in their heavenly abode. Humans have conceived them as gods or Watchers.

From my understanding, the Ethereal Deity (GOD) did the bulk of the heavy work in Genesis 1, as the one-presence in the void (a dark watery abyss) that had always been (which is difficult for us to conceive). It/He commanded the existence of light, and separated the waters. It/He created the earth plane. If there were witnesses to any of the initial parts of Genesis then it would have likely been the archangels that GOD had created sometime during those early moments. Or, It/He revealed His actions to the archangels after He created them. We speculate because we don't know for certain. With light, separation of the waters, and an earth plane, GOD may have chosen to finally manifest, and create heavenly hosts to serve His purpose of finishing His work of detailing the heaven and earth. That is GOD morphing Himself and multitasking. Imagine it, and GOD/God was probably doing it, if it was for the purpose of good. He ends each phase of creation with saying He is pleased with the result. “This is good.” I can see that this might be the place in my own narrative, where all the buts & what ifs start to appear. This is usually brought about by the free-will debate. “But what about free-will?”

GOD's will is non-negotiable. When It/He anoints or possesses an entity, it is to express His will through that entity. GOD doesn't ask permission to bring in the Holy Spirit. GOD is the Holy Spirit. He owns it all, and permeates all, but some He works through in varying portion or degree. He fills them with as much of Himself as He wants. We also cannot conceive all that He does, or why it is that He does it. So, in the case of possessing one of His created beings, He is welcome to take the driver's seat. It might even be blissful, and certainly be considered an honor to accommodate Him. None of us will ever know if that was the case when He chose an existing entity, or if that Ethereal Deity just decided to manifest in a newly created entity. It is certainly more interesting to imagine that He had chosen one within the ranks that He had already created, and I prefer to imagine it that way. Some may interpret a Holy Spirit possession as robbing one of their free-will. Maybe the entity that GOD chose to be His mouthpiece in the heavenly realm, would rather not have been possessed. Free-will is or seems to be the Law of the Ethereal Deity, so how does GOD skirt around His own laws. Well, He doesn't. He makes an offer one simply can't refuse. It's not a threat, but more like a trade-off. Esoterics might explain the agreement by using the term, Walk-In. They believe that certain human figures of earth history were similarly approached by godly spirits, negotiating some kind of heavenly deal, to allow that spirit to possess their bodies for a higher purpose (the will of GOD/God?). I would assume that deal is too sweet to pass along to someone else. So, that person willfully offers his body to that spirit. I suppose the soul within that body will experience some type of nirvana in willful trade. So, all is nice and tidy. No soul or entity does anything against their will, thus the universe (The Law of Karma) is satisfied. There's no reciprocating negative reaction (ripples) toward the mutual agreement. On a negative note, I might add that a similar method (involving deals, trades, contractual agreements) is how evil escapes much of its own karma. Evil knows The Law, and cleverly appeals to one's vanity or other weaknesses to allow willful entry or possession be it one's body, or to own one's soul. They'll make you a rock star when you didn't have the chance or talent, but for a hefty price. All this makes for an interesting universe where entities and beings have choices to own stock in their own development, and possibly graduate to higher states of soul or spirit. GOD/God grants free-will so that living entities (heavenly and earthly) are not mere puppets. However, GOD/God still knows the ends of all our possible choices we make.

There is a third stage of deity that was brought about by the Elohim's (angels/gods) attempt at making man in their own vane shew (their own image or likeness). We now know that Lucifer likely had his hand in how all this business was brought about, and all the chaos it had caused in heaven and on the earth. As was explained, GOD/God created a remedy that included a trap set for Satan/Lucifer that I called, Project Eden. Once the plan was orchestrated in a lawful organic fashion, Satan/Lucifer would be imprisoned through his own accord, and GOD/God's new man Adam/Eve, would create the needed bloodlines that would infiltrate and improve the adulterated man, and some hybrids among the Nephilim. The Great Flood would destroy many of the Nephilim, and all that did not prepare and heed God's warning of the coming flood. Noah and his family and their wives, certainly survived the flood. Noah and his children were direct decedents of Adam/Eve. This bloodline led to the birth of a Savior for all mankind. Just as the Ethereal Deity, GOD, chose to manifest in one of His created entities (God, the Dimensional Deity) to be his represented will in heaven; so too, was the process extended to the earth plane. Jesus, the one and only begotten Son of God our Father in heaven, and a Son of Man from Adam and Eve's lineage, would create a bridge for the souls of man to reunite with GOD/God. This is my personal understanding or interpretation of the Holy Trinity. The Three Stages of Deity is how human beings might best understand GOD/God/Jesus. Even at the Jesus-level of deity, understanding is still very complex, because our universe (for lack of a more precise term) is much larger than our collective mind. However, if digested in small enough bites, earthy analogies can confirm truths that might satisfy our many curiosities about all things. These are the purposes that a narrative fulfills. They are aids to understanding. They may be literal, and they may not. Discovering the case to be one or the other is actually irrelevant. Lucifer in Genesis, is a perfect example. The Book of Enoch and perhaps many mythologies from cultures around the world, might cite many rebellions that occurred in heaven with a whole list of many Lucifer types by other names way beyond Satan. Those go beyond the simple narrative to fill in details that make up a more complex narrative. But, do the details change the gist of the more simplistic narrative? Perhaps a bit, but likely not. They just add more complexity to what was a simple truth. Don't let complexity steer you away from the basic value of the narrative or tale as it might relate to our thirst for understanding. Parables, though they are very brief narratives, pack a powerful, concentrated trove of knowledge into our brain that 'play-out' throughout our lives in dozens or even hundreds of ways.

Genesis is a great platform for interpreting the human condition. As a literary person, I might recognize elements in tales and stories that others might not see. I've seen how the sausage is made, and it neither sickens me, nor does in enable me to rely on my faith when it comes to critical study of sacred writings or bible scripture. Some of us have actually written stories, and had advanced literary training, but I would bet that all of us in some way, shape, or form, have been read to, felt the impact of a fable, and have seen enough movies to recognize the outline of a narrative, and even predict what might happen as the story unfolds. Understanding terms foreign to our own language (like the word Elohim) is also helpful to making sense of the endgame of a narrative. Watch a foreign film sometime, and you'll be amazed how much your mind sees and understands despite the language barrier. Some elements are universal. A story's aim is to tell you something, not to leave you purposely perplexed. One shouldn't have to accept why Jesus was needed upon the earth, or why he had to die upon the cross, without a logical explanation. I've found many biblical anomalies to be solvable by using discernment and logic. I truly believe that GOD/God wants us to understand everything as much to our own abilities allow. I do not believe He wants things hidden from us, because to know more only amplifies His glory. In the case of Genesis 1 and The Fall, GOD/God would like nothing more than to gather all things to their original state of goodness. He has already thrown us a lifeline to salvation (through Jesus Christ), and given us the narrative of why we are here, and how He went about lawfully cleaning-up the chaos initiated by The Fall.
